Inspired by French châteaus, Italian villas and English manors, Terra Mater has composed 20 designer colours in a new French Oak collection.

WildOak; a creation inspired by the 18th Century French farmhouse and remodelled for today’s diverse & sophisticated society. Its all about design, sculpting, shaping, toning, fashion, colour, texture and pedigree. All of which are important for the most discerning customer.

This new collection includes naturally aged oak timber that has undergone stringent milling processes and drying techniques that have been developed over the centuries.

Today’s technology and new finishing techniques, where reactive stains can change the colour of your floor when displayed against different wall colours will astonish even the most artistic person.

Terra Mater’s new WildOak flooring is treated with processes that many manufactures around the world would desire to understand and adopt – surface brushing, unique surface distressing with enhanced tool marks, reactive stains and environmentally friendly coatings that provide every home owner with a floor that displays its own unique appeal.

The timeless beauty of the WildOak French collection complements both contemporary and traditional architectures. Lending the feeling of warmth and inspiration – ideal for new developments, commercial and retail spaces and perfect for glamorising the beauty of any home.

Today more than ever, if wood is sourced correctly it is one of the most renewable resources in the world. Throughout my travels around the world my criteria is very stringent when searching for the best flooring for our customers. One requirement that must be ticked is the factory’s ability
to reduce and maintain minimal greenhouse gas emissions.

We use wood that is planted for the production of natural rubber as the base for our flooring. This means the tree is not removed from the forest. It is only felled when it has to be replaced towards the end of its natural productive life cycle for rubber.

This is 100% plantation species and qualifies under Green Peace Australia’s Good Wood Guide validating WildOak as 75% renewable.

For the precious wood that is used for the face we take every care that only legally sourced timber is purchased. Therefore, you may walk on your beautiful floor with absolute confidence that you have made the right choice for you, your family and the environment.
